Proxylang uses LLM-grade AI translation on every plan — the core engine, not an add-on or a credit meter. It reads the full page for context before translating, which produces more natural results than sentence-by-sentence machine translation, and it’s tuned for Asian↔Western language pairs. Glossary and no-translate rules are included, and a visual/live editor is available on the Start plan and above (the free plan uses the same engine but not the editor). It also reassembles a single sentence that’s been split across multiple HTML tags into one coherent translation — something Weglot’s engine doesn’t do.
Image translation is where they diverge sharply. Proxylang translates the text inside images (banners, menus, product graphics) automatically: you tag the image and the AI handles the rest across all your languages.
